Find Out if Someone Hid You From Their Instagram Stories
Background: I had a feeling a friend hid me from her Stories on Instagram. I went on her page using my Desktop browser and saw this weird jump on the page that led to my curiosity.
There are two easy ways to figuring out if someone has hidden you from their Instagram stories.
The obvious method of finding out if someone hid you from their Stories (besides asking them) is to ask a mutual friend if they can see their Highlights and Stories.
Personally, I don’t like to get others’ involved in my friendships or sometimes I don’t have any mutual friends I feel comfortable asking.
The other way is to go on their page from an alternative Instagram account (like a burner account) or use a third-party tool, such as Anon IG Viewer, to see their page anonymously. This will only work if they have a Public account.
Since I work in tech (and know a thing or two about web sites) and I spend a decent amount of time on social media, I was able to find out if someone had hidden you from their Instagram stories without doing any sort of hacking.
I used this method of checking if you have been hidden from seeing someone’s stories with a few accounts, so I know this method works, even if they have a Private account.
